Activities on Virgin Gorda
Mahoe Bay, Virgin Gorda
Our family spends much of our time on Mahoe Bay since it is a short stroll from Loblolly and the tranquil waters with the gentle slope of sand make it an ideal beach for swimmers of all levels. Two coral reefs protect Mahoe Bay from the outer ocean making this a gentle beach that is great for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and some fantastic snorkeling. You may even snorkel alongside some of the green turtles that frequent the bay. Kayaks and Paddle Boards can be picked up and rented right at the Mahoe Bay office. Snorkel Gear can be rented at Dive BVI. Beach towels, chairs and an assorted mix of beach toys are provided by Loblolly. If you are looking for a land activity, adjacent to the walkway to the beach, you'll find a shared tennis court. Tennis Rackets are available for use at Loblolly.
